Working together

We grow with your practice, not all at once.

theaifd does not ask a practice to move everything on day one. We work with your team to set it up and get it into action on a set of your clients and the service that frees the most time, then add clients and services as the benefit shows in your own numbers.

Who is theaifd for?

theaifd is for UK accountancy practices that want to grow without adding people at the same rate. It suits practices that send production offshore today, and practices whose teams spend most of the week chasing receipts and preparing routine work.

Your clients can be on Xero or QuickBooks, or keep their records in bank statements and spreadsheets. You keep your own practice software and your own way of working with clients.

How do we get started?

We choose a set of your clients together, a mix of straightforward and awkward ones, so you see how theaifd copes with real work rather than the easiest files. We set up the connections and the client portal with your team, and theaifd prepares their VAT ready bookkeeping and annual accounts.

The scope and the price for each client are agreed in writing before any records move, so there are no surprises. A short check in with your team each week in the early weeks keeps everything moving.

How do we know it is working?

Five measures, shared with you at every check in: the turnaround from complete records to delivery, the exceptions raised and why, the time your own reviewer spends, how much the first drafts needed changing, and how your team and your clients found it.

Each decision to grow rests on those numbers, not on a promise.

How does it grow?

When the numbers show the benefit, we add more clients, then more services, at the pace your team is comfortable with. You can change the scope as you go, and either side may end the agreement on 30 days' notice.

Who is responsible for what?

theaifd prepares the work, and a qualified accountant at AI Finance Partners reviews it and signs off the production, with every step recorded. Your practice keeps the client relationship, its own software and the final approval of anything sent to the client, and files the work itself.

theaifd never contacts your clients unless you ask it to in writing. Requests for missing documents go only once a person releases them, and any reminders to your clients go in your practice's name, and only if you choose to switch them on.

What happens to our clients' data?

Your practice is the controller and AI Finance Partners is your processor under Article 28 of the UK GDPR. A mutual NDA and data processing terms are signed before any records move.

Each practice works in a space of its own, with its records kept apart from every other practice. Client data is never sold and never used to train models, everyone at AI Finance Partners signs a confidentiality agreement before they can sign in, and every view and change sits in the audit trail.

How do we start?
