Year end and corporation tax

Year end accounts production for accountancy practices.

theaifd prepares the year end for your client in one workbook: the bank reconciled to the statement, the adjustments, the trial balance, the accounts, the corporation tax computation and the CT600 figures. Every figure shows where it came from, and a qualified person at AI Finance Partners releases it to you.

What does theaifd prepare for a year end?

For each year end theaifd prepares one workbook covering the bank reconciliation, costs paid personally by the directors, the year end adjustments, the trial balance, the accounts, the corporation tax computation and the CT600 figures for each accounting period. It also sets out the figures to enter at Companies House, box by box.

Each figure links to its source: a bank line, a receipt, a document page or a stated reason. Where the work relies on your client's explanation, the workbook says so beside the figure.

How is a year end checked before it reaches us?

A theaifd year end cannot be released until it proves itself. The bank balance must agree to the statement, and the trial balance, balance sheet and Companies House figures must all agree with each other.

A second model then checks the preparation without seeing the first one's reasoning, and the job passes four recorded human gates: data complete, technical review, partner sign off and release.

Which year ends suit theaifd today?

theaifd suits small limited companies with straightforward records today. Later years with fixed assets and VAT registered companies are being added in stages, and a pilot on a job you have already filed is the quickest way to see whether your clients fit.

Does theaifd file the accounts or the CT600?

No. theaifd prepares the figures and the supporting work, and your practice reviews them, approves them with the client and files using its own software. theaifd does not submit anything to Companies House or HMRC.

Does the client need to be on Xero or QuickBooks?

No. A theaifd year end works from bank statements and the client's records, whatever software they use. Where the client is on Xero or QuickBooks, theaifd reads the trial balance and bank lines through a read only connection your practice or client approves.

How can we try theaifd on a year end?

Choose a year end your practice has already filed. theaifd prepares it from the original records, and you compare the result with what you filed: the figures, the questions raised, your review time and the turnaround. Nothing commits you to live work.
